Thanks to all who stopped by and showed their support at the Elmwood Arts Festival. The weather was spectacular and we had a great membership drive. Throughout the entire festival Buffalo First signed over 75 new individual members.

Ebel Iron Works celebrates completion of warehouse expansion on city's East side

During a time when most local stories reported are about cutbacks and layoffs, one East Side business is bucking the trend, by expanding and creating jobs. In a celebration on Thursday afternoon, Eberl Iron Works commemorated the completion of an 8,600 sq. ft. warehouse expansion at their Sycamore Street facility.

Carshare adds three hubs

Buffalo CarShare added three locations to its vehicle-sharing network this week, bringing its total number of hubs to 10. Buffalo CarShare offers a fleet of 10 fuel-efficient cars and one truck at 10 locations that its 250 members can rent at hourly or daily rates. Members can reserve a vehicle online or by phone for an allotted amount of time and use it to go where they want.
